Q. Are the villas in Thailand equipped with air-conditioning?

A. That depends on the location and the time of year you are renting a villa in Thailand.  Some Thailand villas may have central air while others cool just the bedrooms. Please refer to the appropriate villa page for exact information.


Q. Are there any restrictions regarding children in the villas?

A. That depends on the unique villa owner and its location; if the villa is situated on a cliff, for example, or is filled with breakables. Some owners may place age restrictions or ask for liability waivers. Please refer to the appropriate villa page for exact information. Pattaya villas are very lenient towards children and their needs.


Q. Can we have a courtesy hold?

A. Yes, we offer courtesy hold of 48 hours with no financial obligations for the villa that you are interested in.


Q. Do the villa in Thailand have monthly rates?

A. Yes some villas have monthly rates please send us an email to check villa prices.  Krabi villas are very popular for monthly rentals.


Q. Is it possible to add additional guests later?

A. Yes, if there is sufficient room in the villa.  If there is a per guest or per bedroom charge, you will be billed for the additional costs.


Q. Can we hire a cook while we are there at the villa?

A. Most of our Thailand villas have the option of adding cook services where none are included; costs vary by destination.


Q. Is the pool shared with other guests?

A. The vast majority of our Thailand villas have their own private pools.


Q. How far is the beach? Walking distance?

A. That depends on the villa. The beach may be private and right outside your door, a short drive away, or a short walk.  All villas details will say that the beach is under a certain amount of Kilometers from the villa.


Q. Who would be our contact for anything we may need while we are there?

A. Depending on the villa, there might be a property manager or owner who lives on the property or very close by. Luxury Retreats contacts are also provided to you when you travel.

Q. Is the price for the entire Thailand villa including personal private use of the pool?

A. Yes. you get full private use of the villa and its features.

Q. Can you arrange for our taxi from the airport to the villa?

A. Yes, please send us your flight details and we will arrange your airport taxi to your Thailand Villa.

Q. Can you arrange others services.

A. Yes, we can arrange car hire, bike hire, chef services, tours and attractions, Island trips, day trips, golf tours, water sports, food delivery, almost everything can be arranged, please let us know your requirements and we will help.


 Q. Who cleans the villa? Is the maid included?

A. Most of our villas have a maid included in the price listed, and frequency depends on the individual properties; please check the villa pages for all the details.


Q. Is there Internet access and Free Wi-Fi?

A. Most of our villas have Internet access; connection speed, costs and equipment available varies. Please visit the appropriate villa page for all information.


Q. Do your Thailand Villas have satellite or cable TV

A. Yes, all our villas have cable TV or Satellite TV installed and is provided free of charge.

Q. How is the price determined for holiday Villas in Thailand?

A. Since all of the villas we represent are privately owned vacation homes, pricing criteria can vary from house to house, from season to season, and from destination to destination based upon the villa management company & individual owner preferences. Location, quality, amenities, inclusive services, and popularity/availability of the villa are all price influencing factors


Q. What are some of the advantages of a Thailand Holiday Pool Villas versus a hotel?

A. Privacy ? in your Thailand villa, in your pool, with your family and friends. Freedom to choose your own pace and style. Cost savings when traveling with your family or larger groups. Q. How much of a deposit do I need?

A. Exact amounts vary from destination to destination, BUT, in general, 50% deposit is required to secure your villa reservation.


Q. What are the forms of payment I can use?

A. Bank Wire Transfer to Thailand, UK or Hong Kong (Client responsible for fees from both banks)

A. Credit Card via PayPal (no registration required) surcharged at 3.99%

A. Western Union Transfer


Q. How many people can I bring with me?

A. Unless a maximum occupancy number is stated in the villa description (depending upon # of beds) it is assumed that the maximum occupancy for any villa is 2 people per bedroom.  Females are welcome to share a double bed however males only one per bedroom.  If you arrive with additional people above the maximum occupancy allowance, it is grounds for asking you to leave the villa and forfeit your rental. If you have last minute guests traveling with you, Thailand Holiday Pool Villas will be happy to help you find supplemental villa or hotel accommodations for your guests, or if possible, to find you are larger villa (if we can replace your rental in your original villa rented.)


Q. Will I need to put down a security deposit on my villa rental?

A. Security Deposits vary from destination to destination and from villa to villa. Amounts are determined at the discretion of the villa owner. For instance, if a villa contains valuable antiques, artwork or electronics, the security deposit can be greater. Most villas require a security deposit of some kind (ranging from 5,000 THB to 30,000 THB depending upon the weekly rental rate). Security deposits are refunded upon check out minus electric usages and any damages that may have occurred.  WHEN DAMAGES ARE NOTIFIED TO US IMMEDIATELY THEY ARE CHARGED AT COST, IN THE EVENT WE FIND YOUR GROUP HAS NOT BEEN HONEST ABOUT BREAKAGES OR DAMAGE WE WILL CHARGE 3 TIMES THE ORIGINAL COST.


Q. How do I get the key to the Thailand villa?

A. We will meet you at your villa to check you in, where you don't use our taxi service please telephone or SMS 1 hour before arrival so we know when to expect you.


Q. Who do I contact in the event I have a problem at the villa?

A. Every villa offered by Thailand Holiday Pool Villas has a local housekeeper, villa manager, or local villa management company who is accessible round the clock to respond to any problem you might have at your villa. You will be supplied with their contact information, along with other important local phone numbers.
